Vallsjöskolan is a F-6 school located centrally in Sävsjö. The school has about 325 students and employs around 55 staff. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a school counselor, you are a central part of the school's student health team and play an important role in preventive work. You contribute with psychosocial competence and work closely with school management, teaching staff, and other professionals. In the role of school counselor, you primarily work preventively and health-promotively. You are responsible for the school's work against bullying and absenteeism, hold conversations with students individually and in groups, participate in parent meetings and network meetings, and guide and consult school staff. You document and follow up, and are an active part of the school's values work.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in social work
• Experience working as a school counselor, preferably in primary school.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for psychosocial interventions
• Good collaboration skills and respectful interaction
